Dr. Michael Millis is currently a Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon at Boston Children’s Hospital, a Founding Director of the Child and Young Adult Hip Preservation Program, and a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Millis completed his medical education at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA and completed his surgical internship at the University Hospital of Cleveland. Upon completion, he returned to Boston for his orthopedic residency and pediatric orthopedic fellowship. He specializes in femoral anteversion, hip dysplasia, hip fracture, Legg-Calvé-Perthes Disease, septic (infectious) arthritis, and slipped capital femoral epiphysis. In addition, Dr. Millis was elected into the POSNA Hall of Fame in 2021 for his contributions to the field and continued mentorship of the next generation of hip health professionals.
