Dr. Jianping Yang is currently the Chief Surgeon in the Department of Pediatric Orthopaedics at Tianjin Hospital, Tianjin University and also serves as the Chair of the Pediatric Section of the Chinese Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He graduated from Tianjin Medical University and completed his orthopaedic training at Tianjin Hospital. Dr. Yang completed a pediatric orthopaedic fellowship at The Hospital of Sick Children in Toronto, ON and Ottawa Children’s Hospital. Dr. Yang has dedicated his career to clinical practice, teaching and research, specializing in Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip, Legg-Perthes Disease, clubfoot, lower limb angular deformity correction and minimally invasive treatment of fracture for children. Since 2008, he organized and implemented a universal early screening program of DDH with ultrasound in Tianjin, which achieved zero late diagnosis cases in the city.
