Introducing Ryan Hocking
Ryan is originally from Oakville, Ontario, and relocated to Vancouver in 2020 to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Management at the University of British Columbia and UBC Sauder School of Business. Since 2022, he has been a Work Learn Student at the Hippy Lab and Hip Hope Network, where he has played a pivotal role in managing communications, coordinating key events such as the Annual All-Members Meeting and Hip Health Day, and contributing to various operational and administrative initiatives that support research and network operations.
With a passion for the intersection of science and business, Ryan is always eager to contribute to innovative, data-driven projects that align with strategic priorities to enhance business processes and improve health outcomes. Outside of work and academics, Ryan enjoys discovering new coffee shops, staying active through hot yoga, and occasionally taking to the stage to perform in musical theatre productions.
