International Hip Health Day 2022
Overview and History
International Hip Health Day is an annual event which celebrates contributions to hip health from around the world. The Hip Hope Network hosted this virtual event to recognize collaboration, advocacy, and innovation in pediatric hip health from local to global.
The event was hosted by Kishore Mulpuri, the Head of the University of British Columbia Department of Orthopaedics, a pediatric surgeon at BC Childrenās Hospital, and a founder of the Hip Hope Network.
Participants and Presenters
We welcomed over 250 registrants from 25 countries to celebrate innovation in pediatric hip health. The event showcased the activities of 11 hip health organizations, showcasing activities from around the globe.
Hip Legends
The 2022 International Hip Health Day honoured 8 Hip Legends for their achievements in global pediatric hip health and dedication to a future with a solution to every hip health challenge.
Highlights
Throughout the event, we engaged participants with polls. The response was clear: global collaboration is integral to the future of #HipHealth.
